-📰 🪩✨Happy New Years✨🪩📰-
🌟Happy New Year's everyone! Another year has past and I can't wait to see what 2024 has in store for us. What do Japanese people do during the new year? If you see me in the hallway and want to chat, please tell me! ☺️ In the U.S., it depends on your cultural background. In my family, my mom makes black eyed peas. It is supposed to symbolize luck and prosperity for the new year.
🌟This is my parents house in Hawai'i. My family loves the holiday season. My parents love to decorate the inside and outside of the house. When I was younger, we didn't decorate the outside of the house, so this is new for me. It's cute!
🌟This year, my parents had a lot of decorations up in the house. They were excited for all of their children to be home for the holidays. In this video, you will also see my oldest brother. Do you remember him? He did magic for Yano先生 when she visited my house.
Stockings hanging on the fireplace!
🌟This is my aunt's house. She also lives in Hawai'i. That is Jack Skellington in her front yard.
🌟Jack Skellington is a character from the movie The Nightmare Before Christmas. Do you think this movie is a Christmas movie or a Halloween movie?
(2023 New Years) 🎇This is the view of the New Years fireworks from my house last year. There was so many fireworks and my parents said that it went on for a long time.🎇
✨In the U.S, people love to make New Years Resolutions lists. This is a list of things you want to do, work on, or achieve by the end of the year. They are personal goals for yourself. ✨
Some of my New Years Resolutions are:
- learn to cook 3 new dishes
- visit one new country
- study Korean more seriously
✨Some people make vision boards for the new year. Below is an example of a vision board. These boards have pictures that represent what they want to make happen in the new year. Be intentional about manifesting a great new year.✨
🎊What are your New Years resolutions? Let's talk about it! 🎊
Lastly,
Happy New Years everyone and thank you for reading!🎆
