Christmas Eve : Dec. 24th
The night before Christmas is almost as special as Christmas Day itself. In my family, we open one gift on Christmas Eve.🎁 Usually, it's matching pajamas. We all wear matching pajamas and then make cookies for Santa.🍪 Sometimes we have a gingerbread house building competition and then watch a Christmas movie together while having dinner.☃️
Christmas Movie Recommendations

  • How the Grinch Stole (2000)
  • The Christmas Chronicles
  • Olive the Other Reindeer (This movie is on YouTube.)

Christmas Day : Dec. 25th
Schedule
I get up at 7.☀️
We eat Christmas breakfast at 8:00am. 🥞
Usually, I eat cinnamon rolls or pancakes with eggs and some fruit for Christmas breakfast.
We open our stockings and gifts around 9:00am. 🎁
We take a family photo at 11:00am.🖼
We play games at 1:00pm.🎮
We call our extended family around 3:00pm.📞

We eat Christmas dinner at 7:00pm.🍽

These are Christmas stockings. They are hung on a fireplace. Santa comes and puts presents under the tree and sweets in your stocking when you are sleeping.🎅🏻🎄

New Year's Eve : Dec. 31st & New Year's Day : Jan. 1st
✨On New Year's Eve, my family likes to stay awake until midnight so, we can watch the ball drop in New York on T.V! My family also likes to enjoy the fireworks and wish each other a Happy New Year. Usually, we have a party with family and friends.✨

Nia's Birthday : Dec. 21st
My mom says that when I was born, I came home from the hospital in a stocking. This is probably why I love Christmas so much. ⛄️
